27 years ago i crossed the atlantic on my 34 foot sloop "ronaldsay of melfort".
i had no electricity. no air conditioning. no cell phone. no refrigeration, no hot or running water, no shower, no radio, no entertainment. i never got more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep at a time. it took 26 days and was one of the best experiences of my life. i have trouble feeling sorry for the horrible ordeal of the people on this ship.
